Yarraville Residence

The objective was clear: preserve the heritage charm of the existing home while removing outdated renovations and introducing a fresh design inspired by Scandinavian principles. During the sketch design phase, our focus was on creating a sense of lightness and openness, enhancing the home’s connection to the outdoors.

The design is defined by its simplicity and thoughtful use of materials, elevating the everyday living experience. A carefully selected palette of natural materials underpins the contemporary aesthetic, achieving a clean yet warm atmosphere. The result is a seamless fusion of heritage preservation and modern Scandinavian influence, delivering a timeless, visually compelling home for the family.

‘We adored working with Meredith on our family home. From original concept, we felt as though she understood our brief & was able to interpret our needs to create a space that was both true to our aesthetic & peppered with her own signature clean, elevated style. Throughout the entire process, Meredith maintained an incredibly organised & thorough approach, was responsive to our feedback & vigilant with timeframes. Furthermore, her attention to detail was outstanding & contributed to what was an efficient & stress-free build.’
